Seattle Mariners Texas Rangers Score

Seattle Mariners Beat Texas Rangers 3-2

A Tight Game Goes to the Home Team

The Seattle Mariners walked off against the Texas Rangers in a 3-2 game, making a late comeback to secure a win. The game was tied 2-2 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning, when Sam Haggerty singled to drive in the winning run.

The Rangers took an early lead in the game as Adolis Garcia hit a two-run home run off of Robbie Ray in the second inning. The Mariners answered back in the bottom of the third inning when Eugenio Suarez singled to drive in Julio Rodriguez. Suarez tied the game up again in the fifth inning with an RBI double.

The Mariners bullpen held the Rangers scoreless over the final four innings, with Paul Sewald picking up the win and Matt Brash getting the save.

Mariners Continue to Impress

The Mariners have now won 14 of their last 16 games and are tied with the Houston Astros for first place in the AL West. They have been one of the most surprising teams in baseball this season, as they were not expected to contend for a playoff spot.

The Mariners have a lot of young talent on their roster, and they are starting to gel as a team. They have a strong lineup led by Julio Rodriguez, Eugenio Suarez, and Ty France. Their pitching staff has also been very good, with Robbie Ray, Logan Gilbert, and George Kirby all having strong seasons.

The Mariners are now in a good position to make a run at a playoff spot. They have a tough schedule remaining, but they have shown that they can compete with the best teams in the league.

What's Next for the Mariners?

The Mariners will face the Texas Rangers again on Wednesday night at T-Mobile Park. They will then head to Oakland to play the Athletics for a three-game series.

The Mariners are hoping to continue their winning ways and stay in contention for the AL West title.
